Job Description
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to underwrite both new and renewal cases in alignment with risk evaluations, delegated underwriting authority, and reinsurance treaty terms and conditions.
- Oversee and control risk acceptance practices to ensure consistent compliance with underwriting guidelines and treaty limits.
- Offer technical assistance to the Marketing team, including the review and maintenance of policy wordings and underwriting document templates.
- Compile and manage underwriting-related data, generate reports, and maintain statistical records for performance tracking.
- Carry out additional underwriting responsibilities as assigned by the company.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Solid understanding of underwriting principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products, policy structures, and contractual terms.
- Familiarity with various types and methods of reinsurance.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance sector.
- Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and background in Property & Casualty and/or Health and Motor insurance lines.
